Habari Adventures is a 100% local and fair company, all of our employees are local. As a local company we always do our best to deliver quality services to our clients and team as well as taking care of all our mountain crew by paying them best salaries as proposed by the government. We pay our porter 10$ per day, 15$ to chef and 20$ per day to a guide.

The most important thing that differentiates us from other companies is - we pay the taxes in Tanzania and all the money we get from clients we use in our local community. We always participate in environmental conservation program by planting trees and coffee plants around the slopes of Kilimanjaro to control global warming. We clean the Kilimanjaro mountain and other parks in Tanzania by taking out the trashes and educate more on how to keep our natural heritage clean and safe.

Secondly, we have our organization to support education and community, known as Habari foundation (https://habarifoundation.org/). The organization supports our local community and until now we are supporting 45 kids in both private and public schools with accommodation, school fees, building new classes and school materials. Actually the 5% of the profit from our clients goes to this organization. We always invite donors to support our community if they are willing to. We accept volunteers and donations, like clothes, money and school materials.

As a local registered company our prices are fair and reasonable because we operate things local.

Group and private climbs

We offer private and group expeditions, so whether you are a solo hiker or you want to Join one of our group, we are able to organize comfortable, safe and enjoyable Kilimanjaro climbing adventures and wildlife safaris in Tanzania.If you are looking to climb with like-minded travelers, also want to spend lessyou can always find the dates that will fit your holiday schedule.Our open group expeditions depart every few days. For solo travelers and those traveling in low budget, it's cheaper to join one of our scheduled group climbs. Although we can schedule your private tour for any dates and through any route of your preference.

Minimum deposit payment

When evaluating yourself on coming to Tanzania for exploring and season holiday while emailing us,you can reserve your spot on one of our Kilimanjaro climbing expeditions with a 15% deposit per person and pay the balance only when you arrive in Tanzania. Kindly note that the remaining balance will be payed by card or cash, if payment done by card it will charge 4%.
Ps: Should you need to reschedule your tour; your down payment will be stored as a lifetime credit.

No additional payment

Our payment rates are completely transparent and agreeable. If happened any discount offer due to large group or more than one activity, we always keep good records of our client since the first email to us, this prevent the payment confusion between us and our customer. Therefore, will not be another payment expect for the last agreement made between you and the Sales director through email.

Necessary licenses

Habari Adventure is a fully registered company since it was established. It has all the credentials to allow it to run all the tourist activities in the country. This includes all license documents certifying that the activities carried out by this local company are legal and fair for all parties and are recognized by the government. Booking with us as a registered company brings benefits to the government and its citizens because our income goes directly to the persona.

Best routes

We are specialized on Kilimanjaro's best routes. With many routes to choose from, we avoid trails that are very crowded, less scenic, and have poor acclimatization profiles. We operate primarily on routes that offer a combination of high success rates, scenic beauty and low foot traffic. This ensures our clients have the best chance of reaching the summit and have a good time doing it. Normally, we discus to the client preferencesroute they want and then recommend the best way for them based on mountaineering experience.We understand an ideal climbing route is based on each climber's personal preparedness and preferences Prior acclimatization and experience on other mountains determines your preparedness, while preferences have to do with your interest in a longer, more scenic route versus tackling a busier trail and meeting other climbers.

Our guides have many years of combined experience on Kilimanjaro and thousands of successful summits. We also cater to special dietary requirements. Sufficient amount of clean water is provided so climbers stay well hydrated throughout the trek. Normal we do arrange as client health statement required and do as advised with the health support.

Accommodations before and after expedition Habari Adventure uses 3 - 5 star hotels in the Kilimanjaro and Arusha region for our Guests.We are proud to have a good track record of partnership with hotels that provide good services to our clients.Upon arrival in the airport, the guest will be greeted by our travel agent and will be brought directly to the hotel for a break during the wait of briefing.In this hotelyou will always enjoy the peaceful tropical environment of accommodation before and after your expeditions. Additionally, all hotels have a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a real African atmosphere in a beautiful environment.

Taking care of Porter

We always take care of our porters by paying them the best salaries as proposed by government and Kilimanjaro National park. Also we provide them 3 fresh meals a day and they sleep in the best tents / huts. In case our porter get sick or injury we take them to the hospital and cover all the medical expenses.
